Ron Perry,
President
Ronald Perry is the president and owner of Microware
Computers, Inc. and president of the Alaska Computer Training Center in
Anchorage. In 2001, Microware was listed as one of the top 100 corporations
in Alaska by Alaska Business Monthly. In 1998, he was selected by the Alaska Journal of Commerce and Anchorage Chamber of Commerce as one
of "Alaska's Top Forty Under 40," and was the cover story in Entrepreneur
Magazine in April 1997. Mr. Perry obtained his bachelors degree from
Oregon State
University and has attended 8(a) training through Loyola University and a
pilot program between Howard University and the University of Alaska
Anchorage. Ron also on the Board of Directors for CIRI. |

John Rathjen, Treasurer
John
Rathjen, President and CEO of DataFlow/Alaska, Inc., an Anchorage 8(a)
information technology company with 85 employees, has been in business
partnerships and federal technology contracting since his late teens. Since
the mid-80's, he's worked for IBM, Computer Sciences Corp., Automated
Information Management, Applied Technology Associates and DataFlow/Alaska,
Inc. at the FAA, defense agencies and Bureau of Land Management. A
self-professed geek, John is an "armchair economist" with a special
fascination for disruptive technologies, economic strategy and different
cultures. He regularly lectures on the interplay of labor economics and
technology at IT conferences, Alaskan universities and professional
associations. Besides his role in the Alaska 8(a) Association, he is a
member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals, regular
attendee with the Institute of Management Accountants, and through DataFlow/Alaska, Inc., the founder and five-year sponsor of the Boy Scouts
Computer Explorers' Post. As a kid many years ago, John was a Computer
Explorer Scout sponsored by Boeing Electronics Company in Seattle. |

Crystal Nygard, Director
Crystal Nygard, CEO of PSI
Environmental & Instrumentation, LLC, and one of the recipients
of the Small Business Administration “Small Business of the Year
Award” has over 15 years of experience in federal, state, and
private contracting. In 1999, she founded PSI in conjunction
with her sister and has taken the company from its infancy to
nearly $2 million annually. Mrs. Nygard received her bachelor’s
degree from Western Washington University and is dedicated to
ongoing education in business development. PSI has three
offices in the State of Alaska and one in the State of
Washington with 14 full-time employees.
Crystal Nygard is an active
member of the Rotary Club and various professional
organizations. Besides managing her business, she is
active in her community coaching soccer and basketball teams and
raising three boys with her husband, Scott. |

Pamela Finnesand, Director
Pamela Finnesand serves as the
Vice President of Ahtna Technical Services Inc.’s (ATSI)
regional office in Anchorage. ATSI is an 8(a) subsidiary of
Ahtna, Inc an Alaskan Native Corporation with it’s headquarters
in Glennallen, Alaska. She was born and raised in Alaska and is
a shareholder of Ahtna, Inc. She has held increasingly
important positions since joining Ahtna in 1998 in Human
Resources, Operations, and Contracts and is a Certified Facility
Security Officer. She has been successful in working with sole
sourced 8(a) contracts including a $45 million INS contract and
a $60 million Army contract. She has a B.S. from the University
of Alaska, Anchorage and an M.S. from Alaska Pacific
University. She is a member of Anchorage East Rotary and
recently was on the board of Alaska Fly Fisher’s. |
